my first day bact to college look
Its the first day of college and making a statement is always a big deal. A little bit more pressure for the freshers but when you are a sophomore and already comfortable with your style, the tale is different.
You need to make a statement anyways! I've heard that the first day dictates the rest of the year! the amount of truth in that statement, I am not sure.
it is always nice to look good, isn't it? being a tomboy-ish you need to find a nice balance because you can easily slip to the 'girly' trap. The aim is to not look girly but yet not boyish!

This look clearly describes the meaning ‘tomboyish’, not hundred percent tomboy.
So for my first day, I wore a white long sleeve printed crop top that feels a lot like a jersey, a pair of high waisted blue jeans and sneakers, of course. A pair of white air force 1 sneakers.
What better way to complete your tomboyish look than with a pair of swag-ish sneakers.
Trust me sneakers will add a vibe to your outfit. They completely transform your outfit to what I call a tomboy look.
You will agree with me that if you wear sandals, pumps or heels with your outfit it doesn’t feel as good. They can lower the way you feel about the outfit. We do not want that now do we?
To accessorize, i chose a wood beads ethnic bracelet. This kind of bracelet adds a little flavor to your outfit. You can wear a watch of any colour just to play around with it and find your perfect fit. Be careful not to choose colours that blocks your outfit or makes it look unorganized.
I wore heart-shaped nops earrings to add that girly texture just as the watch, bracelet and the sneakers add a boyish texture to my look.
since this was my first day, I wanted to make a first good impression for myself, you know what they say ‘first impressions last’.
and so for myself and also for people out there who expects me to dress girly I decided to make myself a good first impression with this outfit.
I am definitely sure my first impression will last and so will yours.
