6 things to do when you are bored


Many people waste time sleeping when they get bored. How about instead of sleeping off your boredom, you find something that will be both beneficial and interesting for you to do?
Here is a list of some of the things you can do during your free time.

1.    Play board games
Board games are a very good way to ease boredom. They also increase your general knowledge. Of course, that depends on which game you are playing. Take 30seconds for example, this game teaches you about history, educates you about other cultures, animals etc. You learn some interesting facts about your country and others. It is generally a quick and fun way of increasing your general knowledge.

2.    Play video games
What better way for a tomboyish girl to pass time than with video games?
Just like board games video games are very fun and they can be a learning experience as well… of course depending on which games you play.

Some say video games increases your vision and that they can also give you a career boost. Well for me NFSMW can boost my career due to the fact that I am studying mechanical engineering and it can help me get knowledge in what kind of cars  I’m going to be dealing with and also its performance,

If you play games with other people, it can help you develop a team spirit.
It is also said that video games help you think faster, so for those of you who want to be fast thinkers why not play video games.

3.    Learn to draw
Not everyone can draw but with a little practice, you can definitely make something you can be proud of.
There’s a saying that says “practice makes perfect” so to be a good drawer it requires practice.


4.    Listen to music
Music is a very effective way to ease your boredom, I’m saying this out of experience . It takes you to your own different world where just you and your music exist.
The benefits of listening to music are:
    It elevates your mood (buoy your mood).
    It lowers or reduces depression and stress, all in all, music keeps you healthy.

5.    Decorate your room
This is one in many ways to kill boredom.
Decorating is not always easy. It can be draining just to think about some artistic ways to decorate much more seeing that your decoration didn’t turn out the way you had envisioned.
Decorate for fun, play around with your accessories and enjoy. If you do not like the way it turns out you can always redecorate. That’s the fun part you get to do what you want.




6.    Read a book.
reading a book is the most beneficial of the list. There’s so much to gain through reading a book and I’m sure can all agree on this one.
it doesn’t matter which book you read, it can be a cookbook, a novel, a bible, etc they can all benefit you in different ways.
It increases your vocabulary and can also change your way of thinking or change your perspective on how you see things.
Also just like listening to music, reading books can reduce stress levels.


   So the next time you’re bored, just pick one of the above instead of sleeping. You’ll certainly love the results
